John is a diverse and experienced professional having held a number of varied management roles throughout his career. Having spent the last 23 years across a number of industry sectors in both national and international organisations, John has broad leadership experience in commercial, marketing, operational and human capital disciplines.
John has sound commercial acumen, proven project management skills and a strong understanding of customer and stakeholder needs. He is an experienced and passionate presenter and facilitator, able to engage his audience and deliver a message with enthusiasm and excitement.
John has also been an active director of a number of industry skills organisations and is currently a director of a local not for profit, community services business and an active participant of board sub-committees with a particular emphasis on Finance, Risk and Audit assurance.
Having remained at the forefront of business, John holds a broad range of academic qualifications including Post Graduate Certificate in Management, Management and Information Technology degrees, and diplomas in Workplace Assessment and LEAN Systems and Practices. John has also completed studies at the University of Oxford in petroleum studies and is a qualified Internal Auditor and an accredited Leadership facilitator.
John continues his professional development and has developed a broad professional network. He is often sought out to participate in conferences and expert panels and remains current on modern management approaches, ensuring his consulting is effective, contemporary and dynamic.
Some of his career highlights to date include completing complex international negotiations, leading customer growth projects to underpin critical business expansion initiatives, implementing national systems and processes, and building newly founded national functions and departments from the ground up.
John prides himself on his ability to understand the needs of his clients, offering them a unique blend of commercial savvy, with an emphasis on people and change to deliver fit for purpose solutions that are focussed on driving individual capability and organisational performance.
Carla is a passionate professional with over 12 experience in Human Resources with a specific focus on Learning and Development. Her industry experience includes the Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Utilities and Government sectors. Carla is an expert at analysing the needs of her clients and designing solutions strategic business objectives in mind. Having strong project management skills, Carla has worked with some of Australia’s leading companies in the areas of innovation and continuous improvement, assisting them transform their recruitment, onboarding and learning and development processes to ensure sustainable business success.
Carla’s work to reengineer the learning approach for a major South Australian public utility resulted in her achieving the 2016 LearnX Platinum Award for best technology implementation. Her approach to scoping, designing and implementing Learning Management Systems ensure fit for organisational purpose, cost effective and innovative solutions are delivered to drive process efficiency, whilst ensuring people change aspects of her work are purposefully managed to support success.
With a strong background in managing talent acquisition and development, along with the design and deployment of curriculum and training needs, Carla’s experience spans both the facilitation of face to face training delivery, as well as the design and development of eLearning solutions. As a qualified ‘Articulate Storyline’ eLearning developer, Carla’s creative approaches to adult learning to meet organisation’s compliance and development needs have been widely recognised. She is also a qualified facilitator of leadership programs such as the FranklinCovey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which has helped organisations and individuals strive for greater effectiveness.
Carla is noted for her ability to quickly grasp and deal with the complex issues facing individuals and organisations, making her an ideal consultant in a variety of contexts. Her commitment to the importance of a safety culture and an inherent understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements coupled with her strong communication skills assist clients to deliver improved employee engagement, increased productivity to positively impact the organisational bottom line by ensuring timely, cost effective and fit for purpose outcomes are delivered.
